November 2016 Month-in-Review

With holidays, fundraisers, and bake sales our students and staff were busy this November!

We started the month with our Cali-gram fundraiser, a student designed and executed activity to help raise money for our beloved campus pet and mascot, Cali.  Students bought Cali-grams, a personalized note from Cali, to send anonymously to their peers and teachers.  This event was a huge success! Nearly every student participated and everyone received a Cali-gram.  The proceeds of this fundraiser were used to buy Cali a cat tree and a visit to the vet.  Thank you everyone for your participation!

Next up, the adult students from our 18-22 program got in the kitchen to create delicious treats for their fall Bake Sale.  These students work hard all year to raise money to support their off-campus excursions and community education as they prepare to transition to adulthood.  This month the adults prepared a variety of Rice Krispies Treats and "dirt pudding".  Students and staff  loved these sweet treats!
